Board Regulations

The Freesource Household is a board provided by Forumotion that allows people to join an interactive community made up of almost anyone, from anywhere, and from any walk of life. The Guidelines of the Board were created in order to achieve that people will understand and accept behavioral values expected on the forum. The board is not entirely run on regulations, but is also run by people who have accepted the job of moderation and put themselves in positions of making difficult judgement calls. Each regulation has an elastic clause which will be exercised by staff members when they are reviewing alleged infractions of regulations.

I. Any type of offending and controversial topics are not allowed to be posted on the board.
II. No advertising of organizations, whether profit or non-profit, is permitted at any times.
III. The Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right. Administrators and Moderators reserve to themselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of malevolent behavior.
IV. By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the Board, you are under oath to follow both them and the regulations provided. Any broken regulations will result in punishment measures taken by board staff.
V. In the case of arguments or fights, attack the message, not the messenger. Criticize ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated.
VI. Have respect for other members. Remember there is a person on the other end of that keyboard. Feel free to discuss opinions, but keep it to the issues presented.
VII. No posting under more than one account to create the deception that you are two or more different people. This is a zero tolerance policy and anybody who does this will have all accounts banned.
VIII. No trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to get people riled up. Substance is they key to not being labeled as a perpetrator and possibly banned.
IX. You are welcome to your opinions as others are welcome to their access to this board. Please exercise restraint on opinions that may make other community members feel ill at ease on this board.
X. Circumventing a ban will not be tolerated at all. If you have a question about a ban, e-mail one of the administrators.
XI. No slandering of other community members on the board. If you have any beef with them, it should be done outside of the board or through PMs. Anything spilling over onto the board is punishable by warnings or bans.

*The Regulations can be updated at certain times. Check back for any new articles or changes. If you have any questions at all regarding the rules, please PM anyone apart of the board staff.

I. No hateful or abusive content.
II. No defamatory content and/or affecting the integrity of a person.
III. No sale or exchange of medication that requires a prescription from a licensed practitioner, or medicines without prescriptions.
IV. No sale of drugs and any other illicit substance.
V. No copyright infringement.
VI. No hacking.
VII. No spamming.
IX. No phishing and/or malware website.
X. No credit card fraud.
